Youth Concerts
Close Encounters of the Orchestral Kind
Our popular annual event is especially designed for 4th and 5th grade students. This year’s program, Close Encounters of the Orchestral Kind, tells the story of Alvin the Alien who falls out of the Big Dipper and lands in Old Cabell Hall, encountering an orchestra for the first time.
