Fanfare for the Future

A far-reaching $3 million capital campaign to sustain the Charlottesville & University Symphony Orchestra's excellence and enhance musical opportunities for people of all ages in Central Virginia for generations to come.

On June 7, 2008 the Fanfare campaign surpassed its goal to add $3 million to the existing endowment. In addition to providing continued support for our principal chairs, the new funds support expanded educational and outreach opportunities, scholarships, guest artists and conductors, and new programming initiatives. We sincerely thank all those who made Fanfare for the Future a huge success. With your generous support the orchestra has secured a strong future for its musicians and the wonderful programming it offers.

Planned Giving and The Encore Society

The Encore Society has been established to honor and recognize those donors who have made provisions in their estate plans for the Charlottesville & University Symphony Orchestra.
